The challenge
The Swiss Bank Association introduced new requirements for banks to support clients with sustainability initiatives, emphasizing the need for improved transparency in energy performance for mortgage products. However, the existing property cockpit in our E-Banking and Mobile Banking platforms lacked essential features for assessing property energy efficiency, creating a significant gap. This shortfall made it challenging for clients to fully understand their property’s energy performance and hindered their ability to make informed, sustainable decisions.
Project goals
Enhance the property cockpit by integrating energy performance data for clients' properties.
Enable clients to simulate various heating system renovations and view the impact on their energy performance.
Support the bank's sustainability initiatives and comply with Swiss Bank Association requirements.
Improve client engagement and satisfaction by providing valuable insights and tools for property energy management.
My contribution
Facilitated a client journey mapping workshop with our partners Norm and PriceHubble to establish the initial target state, integrating client insights and Swiss Banking Association requirements.
Redesigned the property cockpit to incorporate the energy performance module.
Conducted a feasibility review with the project team and partners to assess API dependencies and project viability.
Prototyped and iterated on the design based on feedback from client usability testing.
Coordinated weekly implementation reviews with the project team and developers to ensure alignment and address any issues.
